At the buyers first glance the Frisby's FS-93000 and FS-6200 seem to be exactly the same wireless units. The only detectable difference between the two are the two Auxiliary, Optical and Coaxial connection options on the FS-93000. These options place the FS-93000 in the ascendancy and make it an ideal place to connect your screaming game consoles as well as your portable music players and -of course your movie entertainment home theater system.

Frisby's speakers work at 2.4 Ghz, the same band many devices operate on. Your wireless Internet connection is the first obvious one. So if the speakers' band unfortunately intersects with your wireless Internet connection then you will need to shut down one of them. The Second thing is that the system says that it achieves a maximum of 5000 Watts of PMPO (Peak Music Power Output), which is not believable for the small price but possible.
However if any speaker system costing under $350 can provide this output and a speaker system that costs over $700 provides an output of 125 Watts (like JBL) then we have to ask ourselves why? One person stated they tested this system in an isolated place in their electronics shop. They stated that it would only deliver decent results in a 20-square-meter radius in a sound-isolated room with no dect handsets or wireless internet connections. If that would be the case then the sound output is about 20 Watts per satellite (again, this is not an actual measurement though and would depend upon the listener. Depending upon their intended use you might prefer just keeping your cables unless the room is compatible.
The Frisby FS-93000 comes in at $320 to $350 and the FS-6200 comes in at $300 to $350 from Amazon.com, and a couple of other web sites. An Ebay seller provides one of the best preices for a system that has been working to deliver great sound at a low price.
My Conclusion:
Frisby and Rocketfish both have tried to solve the tangled wire problem in their own ways with a lot of professional technological goodwill, but depending upon the critics if they really achieved satisfactory results for everyone. Rocketfish provides a simpler modification rather than a solid solution. Frisby gets a lot closer to solving the problem, but still may may have a questionable sound output depending again upon the listener. The other big players in the market, like LG, Sony, Pioneer etc. are hard at putting their efforts into their own little more expensive wireless home theater systems with all-in-one solutions rather than producing independent wireless surround sound speaker kits.
I personally have not had the privilege yet to try the surround system from Frisby, but another person I know who has owned his Frisby for 3 months says it was money well spent for a wireless surround sound system. He stated that this system rocks with reverberating sound when set up according to directions. Nothing in electronics is a guarantee, but I have to agree that if this Frisby system stands the booming sound of action gaming and reverberating sounds that immerse your senses without blowing its stack like my Frisby FS-5030. Then I am inclined to give it a try myself as a wireless surround system for my large LCD television.
So if it is money that is the issue then Frisby wireless or cable may be your solution. Check your wallet and then decide.
