My wife and others who have listened to them have also been impressed with the sound quality for such an inexpensive speaker system. For a cheap speaker product the Frisby has easily paid for itself over and over and has provided me with a very loud, clear, and enjoyable speaker system without paying for the brand name price. The remote control is a very nice finger tip accessory also. Just remember that Frisby will have its own unmovable critics and its satisfied fans like all products do.
My Frisby FS-5030 speaker system
If you are searching for Cheap Speakers & wondering what the terminology and all the hype is when talking about, "5.1 Speakers" and the PC Speaker System & what it means. Here is a short description of it along with a review of the Frisby FS 5030 powered speakers which I purchased for myself. And yes they produce a computer system also.

A little about the Frisby system.
The use of 5.1 channel speakers are found in almost all movie theaters as:
* Dolby Stereo Digital (DSD)
* Digital Theater Systems DTS
* Sony Dynamic Digital Sound (SDDS)Least we forget that the production of cheap speakers known as 5.1 channel speakers are also used and duplicated in home entertainment systems by Dolby Surround Digital, which is similar to the Dolby Stereo Digital format used in most acoustic theaters. These systems are cheaper than the theaters expensive systems, but provide a high quality sound.
In a home system with 5.1 channel speakers which may be cheap speakers with awesome sound, there are actually six speakers that are used:
* Left Front
* Center Front
* Right Front
* Left Rear
* Right Rear
* SubwooferThe first five speakers shown have a frequency response to the listener of 20Hz to 20 kHz. The sixth speaker, is known as the subwoofer,and that speaker is designed to have a frequency response of only 3Hz to 120Hz.
Speakers also come in 2.1 speakers, 3.1 speakers, 5.1 speakers, 6.1 speakers and the step up to 7.1 speakers all simply known as audio speakers which are rightly used for both a computer speaker, lap top speakers and multimedia speakers. One of the most sought after brand names is logitech speakers which we also show here. I like Logiech but personally decided to use Frisby speakers that I purchased on eBay with FREE shipping for only $65.00 in a bid that usually runs over a $100.00.
I use these 5.1 speakers for my computer and have found them a nice price bargain with free shipping offering both a great set of stereo speakers and PC speakers for the money. Frisby BS-FS-5015, 5.1 system is compatible with all analog stereo and multi-channel sound card, all PC models, Laptops, MACs, mp3 players, etc. However for PC or laptop users, it is required to have 4 channel, or 5.1 sound sources or up to enjoy with surround sound.
You can use them on Sony PlayStation2, Microsoft Xbox, or Nintendo GameCube? Just plug in the Frisby FS-5015 or FS-5030 (Shown Above) using the convenient and easy video game console adapter or hook up through your TV and sit back and immerse yourself in the ultimate explosions of music, and dialogue of your favorite games. (It may require an adapter for some game consoles)
